Dol-y-Moch Day 1
Yesterday, we all arrived at Dol-y-Moch safely. Today, we split into two groups, one
of us went on a hike along a river and up a mountain. We made a fire and
toasted marshmallows on it whilst drinking hot chocolate and eating biscuits in the rain. We got extremely wet but are now drying out back in our rooms and relaxing.
The other group also went up a
mountain and then down a dark mine and climbed up a waterfall. They also drank hot
chocolate and ate lots of biscuits! We’re all having a great time here and are shortly off to eat some yummy dinner, bangers and mash.

Twas the night before Dol-y-Moch, when all through
the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The rucksacks were hung by the door with care,
In hopes that the bus soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of mud danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a week's nap.
